The Why Behind DuBois Law Group
DuBois Law Group, PLLC was founded with a strong sense of intention to re-think the way legal services, especially elder law, are provided. Yes, we are professionals that deal with money. But our highest and best goal is to ensure that the people, the families, are assisted through these situations in a respectful, attentive manner. The solutions must prioritize the people, and ensure that they are served and cared for properly–and in a way that doesn’t force them to spend down their hard-earned savings, or equity in their home.
DuBois Law Group, PLLC Founder, Austin F. DuBois, has been helping families with estate planning and elder law concerns for his entire career. He routinely provides formal continuing education for other attorneys, accountants and financial professionals on related topics, in addition to speaking to the public. He is a member of ElderCounsel, a national organization dedicated to ensuring elder law attorneys stay cutting edge with daily legislative and strategic updates and peer education. Austin has received the Upstate New York Super Lawyers Rising Star recognition every year since 2014.
Austin received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Rutgers-Camden School of Law in 2007; his Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law in 2011. In 2004, he graduated cum laude from the State University of New York, College at Fredonia, majoring in Philosophy. In 2003, Austin spent a term studying Jurisprudence and Formal Logic at Hertford College in Oxford University of Oxford, England.
Austin graduated Leadership Orange, Class of 2012, was a recipient of the Orange County Rising Star award, and in 1997 attained the rank of Eagle Scout of the Boy Scouts of America.
Austin’s most cherished achievement remains the connections forged, peace of mind, and assets saved for the families he has helped, and continues to help through his work.
