Why We Matter to our Clients

Committed to You

The world is full of information--but the sources are often biased. Health care facilities, government agencies, opportunistic advisors. People that work with the professionals at DuBois Law Group, PLLC know that we are committed to one person: them--or group of people: their families. We are focused on developing a holistic plan based on what makes the most sense for you or your loved ones--no one else. And we advocate for that, passionately.

The Family

Few things are as important as the bond of parent, child, sibling, aunt, uncle, or a lifelong friend. Caring for our families is often our top priority, but with elder care, the ways to do it are changing as our world changes. Our families used to all live in the same village, and our elders didn’t often live as long as modern medicine now allows. Dealing with the care of an elder family member is just as emotional as it is logistical, and the path for both can be unclear. Everyone at DuBois Law Group, PLLC has dealt with caring for a family member, and is now inspired to use their intimate and cutting-edge knowledge of Elder Law to help families in similar situations.

Let's Talk

Carla

We are so pleased Austin is helping us with the process of taking care of all of our legal needs as we begin the process of a nursing home for our mother, and all that it entails. Austin is so knowledgeable and made everything so effortless in this stressful time of our lives, paying attention to every detail, leading us through the process, going above and beyond with great empathy and guidance. We are so grateful. Thank you, Austin.

What We Can Do for You

Asset protection for people that are not ultra-high net worth happens two different ways: proactively and reactively. For people that recognize that the greatest threat to their hard-earned savings is long term care costs, we proactively custom craft a plan that involves trusts, along with wills and other planning documents, to ensure that the majority of your assets stay with your family, regardless of the care you might need. For seniors that have not done proactive planning, or insufficient planning (sadly often based on bad advice from an otherwise trusted advisor), we offer last-minute solutions that greatly reduce the amount they need to “spend down” on long term care costs, allowing much more of their assets to stay with their families.
